Meet Regan Van Kerckhove
I’ve spent over 20 years in Cincinnati real estate, and for the last several of those years, I’ve worked exclusively with one group of people: adults 50 and older who are navigating one of the biggest transitions of their lives.

I founded DwellWise because I believe this stage of life deserves more than a standard real estate experience.
Downsizing, transitioning to senior living, helping a family settle an estate — these aren’t just transactions. They’re moments that require patience, expertise, and someone who genuinely understands what’s at stake.

A PERSONAL NOTE
This Work Isn't Just Professional for Me
In 2013, I got a phone call from my father that changed everything. What I found when I arrived at his house told me more than the call did. Over the next year — as his only child — I coordinated his medical care, his recovery, his home, and eventually the conversation about what kind of support he actually needed, even when he wasn’t ready to have it.

I was doing all of that while raising three young daughters at home. My oldest was 11. My twins had just turned three.

I know what it means to be the one holding it all together — making the calls, managing the details, and wondering if you’re doing enough. That experience didn’t just shape who I am. It shaped exactly the kind of agent I became.

How I Work With You
The first conversation
The first thing I ask is simple: how are you doing, and can you tell me more about your situation? I want to know if this is something you've been thinking about for a while, or if something has recently changed that's pointing you toward a move. There's no script and no agenda — just a real conversation so I can understand where you are and what you actually need.
No surprises — and no extra charges
Most people are caught off guard when they hear everything that's included in working with me. The downsizing support, the connections to move managers, estate sale coordinators, and trusted contractors, the coordination and project management — it's all part of what I do. There's no extra charge for any of it. I want you focused on the transition, not on what things cost.
At your pace, always
If you're in the early stages and a move is still a ways off, I'll check in occasionally and let you set the pace. I'm not going to pressure you — this decision belongs to you and your family, and I respect that completely. Once we're working together formally, I send weekly updates and stay in as much or as little contact as you'd like. You'll always know where things stand.
